I feel the same way. He was very close to not signing that first deal similar to Crotcher IIRCIs it only me who has a hunch Watson wants away? He nearly went before. They wouldn’t keep coming back if they weren't being encouraged by his camp.

Well, if he does want away then I guess we get the best deal possible. Ideally in the summerI feel the same way. He was very close to not signing that first deal similar to Crotcher IIRC
From the Northern Echo
“Matija Frigan remains a leading option, although an initial round of talks with Belgian club Westerlo failed to result in an agreement over the Croatian.
“Westerlo would be willing to allow Frigan to leave this month if the price was right, but Sunderland’s recruitment team are adamant they will not be overpaying for the 21-year-old.
“Preston’s Emil Riis is another target, with the 26-year-old having struggled to hold down a starting spot with his current club in the first half of the season.
“Riis is out of contract in the summer, meaning Preston could be persuaded to cash in this month if they think there is a good chance of the Danish striker moving on come the end of the season. However, again, Sunderland will not want to pay over the odds for a player who is set to become a free agent in four months’ time.”
No it won’t.I'm gonna be toxic but id be terribly undferwhelmed by friggan and Riis should it come at the expense of watson and/or/maybe jobe
The problem with signing for a Premier League club as opposed to a German club is that our British media go out of their way to destroy whereas German media build you uparguably Man Utd ARE that Dortmund level club at the moment. He’d get plenty of game time there.
We don't know if we are in negotiations with them, there are rumours that we have rejected a bid that is all so far. The club seem to keep most transfer related things very quiet until things are doneThe fact we're in negotiations still after rejecting the first offer suggests to me that Watson has indicated he won't sign a new deal. Shame but get the best deal possible and move on.
I wouldn’t be selling Jobe this window. We should be able to make signings this window without having to sell anybody. We just got 15m for Clarke last summerNo it won’t.
fans will realise (well some will) that to progress we need to sell

Pete O’Rourke has said we are still in negotiations to see if a deal can be agreedWe don't know if we are in negotiations with them, there are rumours that we have rejected a bid that is all so far. The club seem to keep most transfer related things very quiet until things are done
No idea, but even if he did doesn't mean it's true, it's silly season last few days of the windowPete O’Rourke just tweeted that negotiations are ongoing, didn’t he?
Considering Fabrizio said we are in talks insinuates we are willing to sell if we can agree a feeNo idea, but even if he did doesn't mean it's true, it's silly season last few days of the window

Really that just means we’ve said no and if they come back with a better offer we will consider it. True for every player everywhere.Pete O’Rourke has said we are still in negotiations to see if a deal can be agreed
Difference was Cotcher is a mag and was heavily influenced by his dad to leave (silly really)I feel the same way. He was very close to not signing that first deal similar to Crotcher IIRC
