There's no way Bellingham would have a clause in his contract that specifies he can leave halfway through a season.

definitely won’t have a clause but we may well have verbally suggested a fee we’d be willing to sell at

now Bellingham seems a switched on lad so I’m sure he’d understand us wanting to reject it at this stage of the window

If the bid is over 20 (should be higher) but it would facilitate 2 or maybe 3 signings. Realistically we have another 2 or 3 years before we're at the point where we can start turning offers down.

We're still in the building phase and our hierarchy are proving that they're excellent at identifying good long term deals for the club.

I'm really content. We've moved big so far and we're chasing promotion. In the same breathe, we're not throwing everything at it and jeopardising out future. If it takeaway another season , with this team, staff etc, we will likely to be in an incredibly strong position to go up, which was always the long term strategy
What's the point of autocorrect when it changes what you actually type into complete ****e

Exactly, a player is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay.

and what someone’s willing to sell at.

clubs with more money are more likely to hold out for more money as they don’t need the money. Leeds had parachute payments, they didn’t need to sell gray.

We don’t need to sell Jobe or any of our players but clearly £30m to us is worth a lot more to us than it is to a Sheff Utd or Leeds
