Was just the talk at the time everyone was in disbelief at how little he was on so it must’ve came from somewhere. If I sign you on a 4 year contract for £8k a week then you have a good season and I say I’ll give another £2k a week if you sign an extra year with a few bonuses then why would you say no? If someone wants you they’ll pay for you regardless of whether you’ve 3 or 4 years left.

Countless analysts had published the championship wage stuff at the start of the season and we were down in the bottom 5-7 teams. Their data might be a little bit off but it’s not going to hugely incorrect it’s not some dweeb sitting in his basement pulling numbers from his arse
Because we're one of the 5 most recent additions to the league from the league below. That is a natural occurrence and will change over time.

That's a great point mate, what would people want, if it is a choice of bringing Diallo back or an experienced forward and CDM.
It has been one of the main arguments that if we fill those 2 positions then we could kick on. Do people want to sacrifice one of those positions to bring Diallo back
Although I generally agree we’re short on goals and quality up front we know he would give us both. Being fairly sure counts, any new signing can go tits up and he gives us two things we need.

2 of the 3 newly promoted teams were above us. The clubs spending less than us are all in the bottom half. He should’ve just not said he wants us to be in the PL within 5 years because I think it’s heightened expectations.

I thought Brentford might have moved for Thomas. Hoping we get a bit of a clear run at him. Cant think of any other prem clubs who would want a left back.

Same old accusations of not offering good or competitive wages are creeping out again so answer me this, why did Neil, Cirkin, Hume, Roberts, Patterson, Ballard all sign new contracts since we've been promoted? All of them would have a queue of clubs after them yet they chose to commit their future to here, so surely the wages must be competitive. But I guess that doesn't fit the current narrative does it.
All the articles saying were have the third lowest wage bill in league must be lies then

Leeds went after him in the summer, wonder if they would again

Think ill stay off social media just seen loads of fans demanding that KLD leaves because Amad is going to Boro - based on what nixon has said!!

If we are after him, he wants to return and united are loaning him out then he will return to us imo
100% ^ Our Club will be fully aware of the situation, whether, or not, Utd might want more towards his loan.

I reckon that if we want him back, and I believe we do, then I see no reasons as to why he would want to go anywhere else in the Championship.

He enjoyed his time here, he's level headed, and he'll know that we'd be gutted if he chose another Championship team, over us.

I don’t think that’ll matter at all. Will he really care? He’ll want what is best for him and his career.

I can't disagree mate, but I imagine this season will be his last loan spell before he is either sold, or given a new contract at Utd.

I don't think Utd want to loan him to another Prem club, I think Utd maybe don't want to sell him either (I may be wrong)

And therefore, If he is given the choice who he moves on loan to, for the rest of this season, I don't really see why any other Championship club would be better for him and his career in this short term loan spell.....Again I may be wrong.
