Because we're one of the 5 most recent additions to the league from the league below. That is a natural occurrence and will change over time.
Although I generally agree we’re short on goals and quality up front we know he would give us both. Being fairly sure counts, any new signing can go tits up and he gives us two things we need.
2 of the 3 newly promoted teams were above us. The clubs spending less than us are all in the bottom half. He should’ve just not said he wants us to be in the PL within 5 years because I think it’s heightened expectations.
I thought Brentford might have moved for Thomas. Hoping we get a bit of a clear run at him. Cant think of any other prem clubs who would want a left back.
Yes mate, that is what I meant. Relieved because I thought they may have been a better option for him than us.
100% ^ Our Club will be fully aware of the situation, whether, or not, Utd might want more towards his loan. I reckon that if we want him back, and I believe we do, then I see no reasons as to why he would want to go anywhere else in the Championship. He enjoyed his time here, he's level headed, and he'll know that we'd be gutted if he chose another Championship team, over us.
I don’t think that’ll matter at all. Will he really care? He’ll want what is best for him and his career.
I can't disagree mate, but I imagine this season will be his last loan spell before he is either sold, or given a new contract at Utd. I don't think Utd want to loan him to another Prem club, I think Utd maybe don't want to sell him either (I may be wrong) And therefore, If he is given the choice who he moves on loan to, for the rest of this season, I don't really see why any other Championship club would be better for him and his career in this short term loan spell.....Again I may be wrong.
Birmingham City manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed Fulham could still yet recall Jay Stansfield from his loan and send him elsewhere amid interest from Sunderland and Ipswich Town.https://www.birminghamworld.uk/spor...terest-birmingham-city-forward-fulham-4481090
