Don’t mind young and cheap and development players as long as a couple in key positions are young cheap quality and ready
I don’t believe for one second that we paid 10 million quid for Clarke like. Wasn’t it closer to 2m with loads of add ons?
Not sure how anyone can object to us buying players on the up rather than in decline. Maybe some would actually prefer the Moyes model. Takes all sorts.
20 league games still to play, we’re just in a play-off position currently. We could be nowhere near come May.
So I am correct then, we were in the playoffs last season and we are currently in the playoffs this season. Predicting the future from a negative standpoint is a baffling thing to do considering the clear trajectory we are on and if you or others can't see it I can't really be arsed anymore.
Yeah i get what you're saying mate. I just think Clarke is yet to be tested properly. I think he may get found out especially against switched on full backs. For context I'd rather lose Clarke than Neil. I maybe in the minority there mind you.
If 'the model' boils down to that then it's common sense for running a business. The more time goes by the better quality young players we'll be looking at and that's how we grow.
He knew what his remit was, he was head coach, we have seen a slight taste in his recruitment in Mr Dack, I doubt he will be signing him for Birmingham, the snakes buys at Stoke worked out well
Its amazing how football coaches have selective memories. Neil and Mowbray didnt understand the job they were meant to be doing. Bruce losing his job wasnt because of his shocking results, it was because of where he was born. I think Moyse has totally erased us from his memory, I wish I could do the same with him
