I don’t believe for one second that we paid 10 million quid for Clarke like. Wasn’t it closer to 2m with loads of add ons?As much as our model frustates me i dont hold Clarke in the same regard as all our other youngsters, hes already been bought for 10m and is proven in this league so selling him wouldnt feel like we've bought on the cheap and selling on to make a profit like we will inevitably do with Ekwah, Hume and Cirkin etc.
If we can get close to 20 for him and invest it i actually think itll make us a better team and not be so predictable and reliant on Clarke
Not sure how anyone can object to us buying players on the up rather than in decline. Maybe some would actually prefer the Moyes model. Takes all sorts. And out come the pessimists, waiting for the model to fail
He's talking about when Spurs bought him.I don’t believe for one second that we paid 10 million quid for Clarke like. Wasn’t it closer to 2m with loads of add ons?

20 league games still to play, we’re just in a play-off position currently. We could be nowhere near come May.Ridiculous thing to say. Year on year progression, playoff contention in both years in the championship which is such a hard thing to do. How the **** can you or anyone say no ambition with a straight face? Such a lazy thing to say.

Aye. Fair play.I don't think he was saying we paid 10m for him. Spurs did.
So I am correct then, we were in the playoffs last season and we are currently in the playoffs this season. Predicting the future from a negative standpoint is a baffling thing to do considering the clear trajectory we are on and if you or others can't see it I can't really be arsed anymore.20 league games still to play, we’re just in a play-off position currently. We certainly were, well done Mr Mowbray. Let’s see where Beale takes us…So I am correct then, we were in the playoffs last season and we are currently in the playoffs this season. Yeah i get what you're saying mate. I just think Clarke is yet to be tested properly. I think he may get found out especially against switched on full backs. For context I'd rather lose Clarke than Neil. I maybe in the minority there mind you.I am struggling to think of many better 1v1 full backs defensively mate. I think Clarke would enjoy playing against more full backs than not. He has this natural ability to keep the ball on his foot and then shift it after his body movement. It is a body movement not a trick. Trippier is a savvy as they come, a lot arent. Just my opinion but I can see why West Ham fancy him, and they are now a very good prem side.

Yep let’s see. That means we can hold off any moaning about him until the end of this one.We certainly were, well done Mr Mowbray. Let’s see where Beale takes us…
Neil much more difficult to replace - I agree mate.Yeah i get what you're saying mate. I just think Clarke is yet to be tested properly. I think he may get found out especially against switched on full backs. For context I'd rather lose Clarke than Neil. I maybe in the minority there mind you.
I agree too. Neil will be really rough to replace. Quality player.Neil much more difficult to replace - I agree mate.
We improved after Neil left and we have improved in the short time since Mowbray was sacked, yet because it's 'Uncle Tony' and he 'gets the club' the decision makers are getting stick for sacking him. Glad to see the back of him.
Haha soo mate it was a joke! I just don’t rate burstow so wanted him going back to Chelsea!!No doom from me! Got nout against the lad just hasn’t worked for whatever reason, yet
