we as a fanbase in general can sometimes be quite arrogant in assuming if a player doesn’t come to us it HAS to be because of money one way or the other
100% agree on that, location is a huge factor in moves and easy to forget not everyone will want to move north, huge decision moving your family to the other end of the country

Hes got every appt spot on so far - jury still out on beale at the min

He has continued to sign talented lads for us, and has taken us so far forward since arriving

But yeah lets get rid because he hasnt signed an experienced striker (because they are so easy to come by)

You'd think the Alex Neil scenario would make people stop and think.

When he left people savaged the club ... oh yes you did!

Neil, without Speakman and Sunderland, was an absolute fking disaster.

And that's a fact.

Of course he has but he’s clearly got things wrong as well. It’s just worth asking the question if it’s acceptable not to sign an experienced striker after many attempts. It’s not looking great. It’s not all on him. There’s much wrong within the club and there no sign any of them give fk to be honest.
I'm pretty sure you are on the windup but i'll bite. Please answer me this, name me some 'experienced' 'proven' strikers that Speakman could sign within the constraints set by people above him.

Fwiw I’ll get pelters for this but even if we’d matched Ipswich’s offer, Moore would probably have picked them. They’re going for automatics.
Total logic. Could we offer a credible deal with bonuses after we go up ? Which option would you go for if we offered the exact same deal ?

they is defo things that he has got wrong but don't think it warrants him getting sacked, cos every decision he's made so far, agree or not
has improved us points wise and table wise every year since he's come here

Smug i dont, but what i do think is, we are at a bit of a cross roads, Juan will be gone soon enough, and i think if we don't go up next season a fair few fans might have had enough of a young billionaire not spending to get us where we should be.

That gets me. Why SHOULD we be there? The prem league is a closed shop with the top 6 throwing scraps off for the rest to fight over. I'm quite happy watching the football that we've been playing (apart from some games under Mowbray/Beale) rather than getting humped every week. I would rather wait until the team we are building is ready to go up rather than having KLD paying over the odds for players - seen how that one turned out and didn't really like it

Couldn't agree more
