Ryan Lowe has said that Luke Jephcott is the hottest property in the country at the moment.

What's he trying to do ?.....talk Jephcott up and get a bidding war going for his signature....sounds like that to me....we'll end up with not just a dodgy defence but a forward line devoid of goals next.

Covid-19 testing is being done over all EFL clubs this week....Championship, Div One & Div two....Surely this will find some positive tests.....and postponed games possibly....maybe the FA will stick to their comment about clubs with 14 fit players having to play ?

Joey Barton has left Fleetwood with immediate effect.....no reason given at the moment....must be a story here somewhere....some think it could be linked to the dismissing of Che Evans.
So will Ryan Lowe be top of the list for this job......only a small size club but with deepish pockets.

Since thrashing Argyle...there season has gone down hill.....:huh::huh:

The Huddersfield v Argyle FA Cup game is not on the iFollow site.

Just in case you haven't thought that far ahead yet.....you will need an account on....The FA Player....this is free.....best to sort it out now than on the day.

I'm not sure if you can get it abroad.....so BC you might need to check that out.

No iFollow over here, just commentary

Do you ever look at PASOTI at all BC? In case you don't that's the other fans forum. Just put that in you machine and you can enter the site without having to join. There is a thread on there ref the Huddersfield game and I think it says it is being show live in Canada. Not sure how or where but you may be able to suss it out from the info on there. Always worth a look on pasoti for some useful info.

It will be interesting to see the results of the mass Covid-19 testing this week throughout the FL.....and how it might effect this weekends FA Cup fixtures.

Talk also of solving any Covid problems within the womens game....regarding rounds 2 & 3 of the Womens FA Cup by the drawing of lots or the toss of a coin to get a result.

That could solve everything....all teams just stay at home....and link up by zoom....and then toss a coin for who wins.....will save on expenditure....no traveling...no opening of grounds....no staff overheads....no injuries.....in fact no nothing....and of course no football.

Reminds you of the old days when we used to have a sitting panel....deciding results of weather effected games... so that the football pools could be paid out.....what's happened to Littlwoods & Vernon pools ....I assume outdated by modern technology.

Premier League announce this week a total of 40 positive Covid-19 tests ?

Jack Ruddy has signed an extension to his contract....which keeps him here until the end of the season.

It looks like George Cooper is out for the rest of the season (however long that is)....he has sustained a knee injury whilst playing last month at Crewe....:headbang:

Having been to a specialist the out come is the need for surgery.

Niall Canavan has gone to Bradford for a fee undisclosed of course. Have to say I didn't expect that one. That is either the move or the fee. Says why he wasn't in the last match doesn't it.

Probably the reason Wootton came on Saturday instead of Canavan....surprised he has been allowed to move on.....we definately need to replace him quickly the thought of Wootton being first replacement....is rather worrying.

Bradford is home territory and his family is that way....and they came calling....I wonder how much we got for him.

It does seem like Lowe might of not retained him next summer...so let him go for a small fee.

He was the only verbally outspoken defender we had....so that is worrying .

It was noticeable how down-in--the-mouth Niall Canavan looked in the interview he gave after the Crewe debacle.

They've all made mistakes back there but of late I think Canavan has looked better than both Opoku and Wootton. Still, it must be a bugger being so far separated from your family with lockdown on top of a hectic football schedule. Best wishes to him.

I agree notdistant. He definitely isn't the worst of the defenders and of them he was the first one I would have picked to play. However, not the greatest player we have ever had either and think his level is in league 2. I wish him well and hope it works out for him.

Nottingham Forest are the latest club who are supposed to be checking out Luke Jephcott.
