The re-arranged Accrington trip is on Tuesday 9th February....what a terrible away trip....at least the Green Army will be spared the journey.

The third round Cup game away at Huddersfield will kick-off at 1800hrs and will be free to fans on the ...'Broadcast Free to fans Player' ? what ever that is.

Why did we only have 1808 fans in....when all other clubs who were allowed fans had 2000....couldn't have been because of ground size ?

Do you want the REALLY good news?

Bristol Rovers have suspended their fixtures due to an outbreak of Covid at the club.

Bloody good job our players didn't get within 2 yards of them on Saturday.

Maybe that's why they played better than their home record...Covid charged.....maybe we could get the result erased and claim an away win.

Do we know who was tested positive.....was it a player or just back-room staff.

If we buzz around and win 10-0 it will look suspicious.....a new version of the Duracell Bunny advert...but in our case Covid charged.

Ryan Lowe has commented that there are a select few who are not running for the team anymore.....and has also commented that there are 12 contracts that need sorting out this coming summer.....sound like a bit of blame game being mentioned here.....if it continues losing matches like at present....next summers contracts might not be Ryan Lowe's problem to solve.

He saying some unspecified players are not tracking their runners. That's objective fact rather than blame. If you listen to Niall Canavan's piece you do get a feel of some disquiet in the dressing room.

That isn't what I was reading notdistant. He basically intimated that some players were not trying or putting in a shift. He mentioned 12 out of contract in the summer which says to me that he is blaming some of them and they will not get another offer. That hardly sounds like encouragement. I repeat I don't like to hear a manager lay all the blame on his players and especially when he isn't prepared to take some of the blame himself. He bought them and not that long ago as well. He does the training and tactics. The buck stops exactly where it should as has been the case with all the previous managers. I am not calling for his head or any of the players for that matter but hold your hand up if you are in the wrong is the least I expect. Derek Adams used to blame everyone else and we did not like him for it.

What I mean is that he is referring to specific incidents, presumably leading to conceding goals, which from Niall Canavan's remarks it seems the players are also aware.

That's different to a blanket blaming of the whole team.

In all this doom and gloom I've found a treasure trove of old goal clips posted on Twitter by the club. I'm not sure this will work if you don't have a Twitter account but I'm going with this for comedy value:

You must log in or register to see media

and Andy Kelland's for excitement

Could have had a selection of Danny Mayor Argyle goals....Oh hold on....there aren't any.....<whistle>.

Little heartwarming story I saw on Twitter. There are a long series of posts from Ian Holloway telling the Grimsby fans how much he loves them, how much he loves the town and the club. He'd love to stay but circumstances don't allow it or if he's not wanted.....

I had to brush away a little tear.

Sounds like Timmy Abraham has already returned to Fulham...ahead of his January contract time.
