Sounds like Timmy Abraham has already returned to Fulham...ahead of his January contract time.

I see that Timmy's big brother Tammy covered himself with glory last night by scoring twice in Chelsea's 3-0 win against West Ham.

Our old buddy Sepp Blatter is in the news again.

FIFA have lodged a criminal complaint against former President Sepp Blatter over the finances of a Museum in Zurich Switzerland.

The Museum cost £420 million to 'renovate' which they don't own....and also they're locked into a long-term rental agreement on un-favourable terms.

He's got his fingers in every sticky deal that FIFA ever did whilst he was in control.....you've got to admire the fellow's ability not to be locked away for a hundred years....how does he manage it.

PS....I assume the Museum is football related.....or does it just go under the name of Blatter's pension fund.

Well that's the question isn't it
Who does own it? Not only did FIFA pay to renovate it, they then signed an onerous contract to occupy it.

Ian Holloway has resigned as manager of Grimsby, despite how much he loves the fans, club, town etc etc etc. Leicester aren't looking for a manager so who is the lucky club?

I see my mate Bradley Wright-Phillips has signed for Major League Soccer (MLS) team Columbus Crew.

Ryan Lowe has said that Luke Jephcott is not for sale.....and we do not need financially to sell him.

I was thinking at this rate it won't be long before he's in the full Wales squad. In League 1, we won't get an international break from our own fixtures which will mean playing without him. Obviously it would be great for him and for the club if he becomes a full international and I wish him success but I do wonder if that will be a factor if a good offer comes in for him.

Sunderland have had their last four league games postponed because of confirmation of Covid-19 amongst their players ans staff.

The EFL will investigate in accordance with their regulations.

Those game include tomorrows game against Accrington.....before this the other three games were.....Shrewsbury, Blackpool & Hull.

Will the EFL's investigation into the reasons.... fine them if they feel that Sunderland have been lax in their safety steps against Covid ?

Short answer is No. They haven't penalised anyone so far so I can't see them starting now. Doncaster are the latest. Whilst they are having a nice rest some clubs and that's ours included are packing in the games as fast as you can blink. Just about all of the top half of the table are now postponed for multiple games.

Plymouth now moved into tier level 3.....which means no fans in the ground for the Gillingham game.

Transfer time is here again....Jan 4th until Feb 1st.

Been talk of interest in Matthew Pennington...Everton Central Defender....but low and behold yesterday he signed for Shrewsbury until the end of season.

So we know that Timmy Abraham has already returned to Fulham....Jack Ruddy's loan spell is finishing....with McCormick now fit his requirement doesn't seem necessary anymore.

Jeremy Opoku's loan from Fulham runs until 28th Jan....he hasn't played recently and hasn't been in the squad for the last two games.....has Lowe been resting him for awhile....meaning he might want to keep him longer....or might he be going back to Fulham soon.

Ryan Hardie and Kelland Watts loans go through to the end of the season.

FA CUP.

The Football Association has warned clubs that they must fulfil FA Cup third-round ties next week even if they have only 14 players Covid-free and available, as fears grow the the competition could be ruined by a raft of postponements due to rising virus infection rates.

Daily Telegraph Sport...2/1/2021.

So we just need Huddersfield to be ravaged by Covid just enough to weaken their team...so we stand a better chance..........<whistle>.

Rumours starting about Luke Jephcott of course... from Huddersfield our Cup opponents suppose to be showing interest.....could that be just to undermine his confidence.
