Simon should have gone on loan to somewhere like York or Halifax that would have been a better move for him I think.
Did Jayden danns end up leaving Liverpool ?

Yeah, like not until say Cardiff away, then there would only be a few weeks to go.![]()
Yep.So if Burstow did get sent out, we would've seen 6 of the summer arrivals, leave in the following January. What a mess.
Think we will need to move more out in preparation for 3rd division footballCan’t wait for the summer window
Outs
Matazo hasn’t kicked on get rid
Crooks the same
Joseph try n get him a loan deal somewhere
Egans past it move him on
Barry if we can get him for less than 15 million keep

Macca and jones the same but maybe league 2
ins
Kid called Celi is storming it in South America we should be looking at that deal
It’s just happened under them!!Yep.
Can only hope that this madness ends now under Dublin and Selles. It's not sustainable and it's no way to build for success. (obvs)

It has, but tbf changes were needed. We may still go down, but we've got a much better chance of staying up given who they've brought in.It’s just happened under them!!
I thought it was just Walter’s fault and the squad was good enough??It has, but tbf changes were needed. We may still go down, but we've got a much better chance of staying up given who they've brought in.
Also, it's clearly been about bringing in the sort of 'characters' we've been missing too (some nous, leadership, presence, etc) as Selles mentions in this HDM article today. Hard to argue against?
And it sounds like he did want a LB after all (hardly a surprise - I guess the other day he was just meaning that if he had to go with what we've got then he's happy enough but not ideal).

I'm sure most on here are old enough to remember the days of one substitute, no matter who got nobbled he had to go play, maybe a bit of a shuffle around but that was it. Now it's like trying to build an 11 piece jigsaw with 18 pieces, he's a 6 but not an 8 he's a 9 but can be squeezed into 10 and so on.
It's a game of football why is it getting so complicated?
well that's Burstow seeing out his contract on loan to other clubs before leaving for a free or nominal, just like longman and Sinik before him, feel for the kid, obv cares and tries but not there yet for regular championship football, pretty much exactly as Sunderland fans warned us.
It’s just happened under them!!
Yeah, for all the talk about the club 'finally getting it right' under a new hierarchy and the head coach wanting a smaller squad, this January transfer window is almost a carbon copy of the previous January transfer window in terms of scale. The only difference is the quality.
only Tyler Smith was nominal....didn't we pay around 2 mil for Burstow?I said on the summer 2024 transfer thread around the time we were first linked with him that Burstow would end up on loan to someone like Grimsby a year later. Perhaps Grimsby is a bit too harsh but I think he will be loaned out indefinitely until his contract runs out. The new Tyler Smith.
