Mad really just how ****ing good Fleming was that season and just how **** he’s been ever since.

He was a well oiled cog in an axis of Greaves alongside and KLP ahead. Lads who he'd played with since childhood and in hindsight probably carried him to a certain extent.

Sadly, was never quite the same player standalone.

Injuries at key times probably haven't helped, but truth is he hasn't really shown it at a lower level either.

I seem to remember another certain Swiss keeper who conceded a howler, Wednesday I’m pretty sure it was, then he cut his hair off and became a cult hero. I was gutted when he left.

Lets get past this idea that he's been bombed of for the wednesday howler alone can we? 2 managers and an interim have failed to use him despite seeing him train everyday and Selles pretty much stated on his presser today he'd rather have TLT as #2.

That's why he's leaving. He was a bad buy.

Probably some alarm bell early on which would explain them bringing in Rushworth. Though the club can't realistically say that at the time, now can they?

I was talking about the Jak. I haven’t got a clue about Racc whatever his name is if I’m honest

I loved him. He was number 1 for a while though and if he had t gone off to Leicester, probably a lot longer, although I guess he did it for the pay day.

Was probably at a stage in his career when he'd likely developed as a player individually as much as he felt he was ever going to, and was thinking about his and his families future after football. As you probably would.

It must be a strange mentality though, as someone else said; by it's nature, due to the relative lack of rotation and substitutions compared to other positions - 'keeper is the one position where you can be benched for months or years, knowing you're not going to play barring an injury, and given most clubs have 2 or 3 first-team goalies then it's inevitable that the majority don't have a realistic chance of playing regularly.

You can probably see why so many outfielders view 'keepers as just 'different' and the ''keepers union' concept is still acknowledged in an increasingly individualistic sport.

I just looked October 2019 we signed him
Second longest serving player after Fleming I think
Fleming Another one
Gave him a three year contract and have sent him out on loan ever since

McLoughlin signed summer 2019 so he's slightly longer serving than Jones. Doesn't affect your point though.

I said a couple of days ago that Giles might end up being a loan. It just seemed unlikely to me that a fee which works for both clubs could be agreed. I keep banging on about it but I think the intricacies of transfer fee amortisation and FFP play a part. Currently we can book it as let's say £1m per year over three years. But as soon as we sell him we have to put the whole fee in this year's books. So the £1m for this year becomes £3m. And if we only receive say £1m from Boro then there's a net cost of £1m of letting a player leave. Plus whatever it costs to replace him. The loan avoids that, and maybe we still make a significant saving on his wages. It's still not ideal, but it's never going to be when you're pushing out a player you paid big money for 6 months ago. Which is why we have to get better at spending our money and making the signings work.

Over ten years ago. And where his brother lives is utterly meaningless. You were wrong, don’t dig the hole deeper.
It is attempting to draw association with Turkiye because he wants to exploit the negative twitter reaction to Nordin's age.

It's a ****ing AI bot. It'd be funny if some of you weren't falling for it just because it confirms your bias.

It's so ****ing obvious.

Oh, and Ömür. No surprise to hear rumours of him wanting out. It's not felt right with him for weeks. Barely playing under Sellers and didn't play much more under Walter in the final weeks. Last few weeks we really could've done with him with such a lack of attacking players, Donny game in particular should've been a big chance for him. But he's had this vague injury which no one knows any detail of and the journalists don't ask about. Seems like those injuries Sinik always has before a transfer window. Suspect we're just keeping him out of the picture in the hope of finding him a move but not wanting to publicly commit to it like we have with Bedia and others.

Such a shame though. He's an obvious talent, he works hard and he battles in a way that creative players often don't. Feels like we should've been able to get something out of this player.

He lost his way when Ozan left.

For me, selling Tufan was the single worst bit of business last summer.

But Omur is a diminutive 10, with questionable end-product, in a system that doesn't really use traditional 10's and is part of a squad seriously lacking physicality ...

So, if he's a high earner and isn't going to be a key player, then it's becoming obvious he hasn't got a sustainable future at this club in the long term.

Not sure about AI (I haven't got a clue about all that so can't really say) but definitely heavily biased against Acun like those you see popping up on social media. Which is the only reason he's here.
