theres a keeper at spurs, been there something like 20 years, served under 9 managers & only ever made 1 first team appearance. Bonkers. Happy to pick his weekly wage I guess

Steve Harper was at Newcastle for 20 odd years before he came to us, only spent 4 or so of those years out on loan with the majority of his time as back up to Srnicek, Given and Hislop, made the buk of his appearances there towards the end of his time....
Scott Carson living the life at Man City as well now. Granted he’s had a very good career prior but keepers just probably have the mentality of a good solid wage is sometimes better than playing regularly

being third choice keeper at a prem club is one of the best jobs in the world
you get a very decent wage, you get paid to keep fit, free travel trips
and theres a small chance you get to make a prem app with none of the pressure as being number 1
