Someone tweeted a compilation of his goals earlier. Looks to be a clean striker of the ball, whilst having a physical presence and being a hard worker. £2.5m seems a bit of a gamble, but i'm quite optimistic about this one.

Think Blackpool paid a million for him? I’m quite positive about this one also.

Like the look of that.... look at the number 5 at the very end of the clip./. Matt Pennington...

I definitely would expect:

Sinik
Longman
Bedia
Racciopi
Giles

Probably safe to say:

Smith (on loan if we are signing another centre half)
Sellars Fleming (on loan)

Maybe:

R. Coyle
Kasey Palmer (apparently he doesn't fit much into Ruben's plans)
Abdus Omur (if the offer is right)

I thought the Palmer signing was weird to begin with. Good player on his day but too inconsistent and doesn’t work hard enough to be a number 8. He didn’t really suit Walter (which is why it was weird we signed him in the first place) and I imagine he suits Sellés even less.

He reminds me of Diamé in that he has that languid playing style about him. He’s a good dribbler and able to produce a bit of magic out of nowhere. Unfortunately, I don’t think he works hard enough off the ball to play as one of the number 8s under Sellés so he’s kind of in limbo. Even if Sellés goes back to 4-2-2-2, he still wants the two number 10s to work hard. He needs to be at a team that plays to his strengths.

I remember when Huddersfield made the playoffs a few years ago, Sky made a big deal about Thomas' set piece delivery being their main source of attacking threat. Wouldn't mind a bit of that as I think apart from Kamara, who has other significant drawbacks, we don't have much quality of delivery in attack at all.

Really? What do you think the price will be?

His wages off the books for the rest of the season will save us nearly £1m alone, so the club will probably settle for a cut price deal. But given what he's done for Boro in the past and the fact they're bringing in £20m this January, i'd want £2m at a minimum.

He couldn't possibly comment.
Interesting what he mentions at the end about it being the 3 year anniversary of Acun’s takeover tomorrow - “it hasn’t been dull and I get the sense what’s to come won’t be either” - transfer related or more? I could be overthinking it!
