Interesting what he mentions at the end about it being the 3 year anniversary of Acun’s takeover tomorrow - “it hasn’t been dull and I get the sense what’s to come won’t be either” - transfer related or more? I could be overthinking it!
Or just meaning "the last three years haven't been dull so I doubt the future will be either" sort of thing

Yeah but the difference between the reactive **** I post and the **** you post is that I’m usually spot on and you’re just… wrong.

Another hilarious one from summer 2023. Still waiting for Acun to learn from his mistakes a year and a half later. Should be any day now.

If you think you're usually right, you're delusional.

You were very critical of LR (which was daft), then backed Walter to the hilt (which was plain stupid) and then said the next manager wouldn't be able to immediately turn it around (which he has).

My recent favourite was your ridiculous tantrum over signing Amrabat, who had a really decent debut and showed that despite his age, his legs aren't gone.

And btw JCH has scored as many Championship goals as Delap but in a lot less games, he was available permanently for a modest fee and modest wages. He's a bit of a twat but he's a decent hold-up man and a good finisher. He's not as good as Delap but he would've been ours, he wouldn't have broken the bank and he's a lot better than Bedia.

Clarke Harris is cooked. He's having an awful season.

This was 18 months ago though, you can't utilise hindsight. At the time he was coming off a season where he'd scored 12 in the Championship for a relegated side. It wasn't an awful suggestion and I don't hide my dislike of loans (the manner they're used now is completely flawed to me).

He'd scored 70 league goals in the prior 3 seasons
It wasnt too far fetched to think he might have been a good perm signing

Giles clearly isn't worth what we paid for him now, but I'm sort of surprised we're seemingly prepared to do a cut-price deal. Mostly because, with the way transfer fee amortisation affects FFP under the current rules, I think selling him for a loss will actually cost us money in FFP terms for this year rather than gaining us anything.

My tantrum over Amrabat? Loads of posters said much harsher things than I did, soft ****.

Depends what you mean by decent. I thought he looked well off it but he only played about 10 minutes so it’s hard to judge.

If we don’t get rid of him now it’s only gonna get worse. We’d be stuck with him for another 3/4 years on 20k a year. We’d literally have to pay to get him to play somewhere else. Unfortunately the sales of Greaves and Philogene may have to pay for it. And Sinik some ways.

It doesn't "get worse" in fact it would be beneficial to spread his cost over multiple years rather than take a big hit this year. We're saving a few years of wages to basically take all the cost in one year.

I mean as stuck on our wage bill not been able to budge him.

Understand that but the hit we're taking this year is arguably worse than 1m on the wage bill each year. I'm sure the club has considered it all though and presumably the fee being received is good enough to justify ripping the Bandaid so to speak.

What is the current registration deadline.
Previously I think it was Friday lunchtime for a Saturday 3 o’clock kick off.
Now kick offs are all over the place.
So when would we have to sign a player so they could play on Friday evening at 8?

I think it's midday the day before a game, whatever the kick off time, so we may well see Joseph announced tomorrow morning-ish.

Looking at the bench yesterday, a stark difference I. options compared to a couple of weeks ago with new signings and injured players due to come back it'll only get stronger. the obvious bench players to be replaced being smith and Vaughan from yesterday, I do hope that they get decent loans come the end of the month both need to be playing if they're to develop
