And morally wrong too!!Signing Zambrano was a massive waste of time and resources.
I feel for Simons too
There’s certainly a player in there
Good pedigree but been messed around and probably needs to go to further his career

I don't know about that. the club knew what they were getting into. Bigger clubs, much bigger clubs had looked at him previously. The very fact that we showed him support (and I doubt it cost us a huge amount) will hopefully serve us well in the future. He could be worth a pretty penny in 2 years time.

true
its also not like the club was not unaware he was almost certainly going to get a ban
but if he's with us for next season, we are laughing in my opinion
newcastle bought tonali, he got that gambling suspension, missed 3/4 of last season and is now a regular this
Looks a player, wins it, gives it, passes it…From the video I saw he looked to be a bit of a ball-winner.

How much resources has a loan signing from Ecuador taken up? His wages are probably similar to that of an academy player. If it means we’re in a strong position to sign him, once he is available it was a gamble worth taking

Are we doing charity work? The club had a good idea he was going to get a ban and signed him anyway. Another brilliant decision by Acun to sign a player who wouldn’t play most of the season.
If his ban gets reduced and we secure him I think it may be worthwhile. Admittedly a lot of ifs though

Lopes was quite slight though. Matazo looks squat and powerfulSlater described himself as a defensive midfielder in his interview when joining us on loan in League One.
I think Matazo's probably similar to Leonardo Lopes.

spot on in my opinionSimon’s may well turn into a decent player, he’s got all the attributes but he’s rarely put them all to use. I don’t think we’ve messed him or round nor is naive to move him on. He’s had a very good chance to play here this season, he’s not really taken it. We can definitely improve upon him, we are clearly looking to do so, and as such he is becoming surplus.
Best for both parties for him to move somewhere new, I expect he will end up dropping a division.
Burnley have signed Jonjo Shelvey on loan.
he's not on loan, he had no club
its a short deal to seasons end
