That doesn't tell me why it filled up with water overnight while it was switched off though.

Yes, in case she opens the door again and it is filled with water, I'd rather it didn't fill with water.

Not that I know of, we have a shared swimming pool, not a shared washing machine
At the bottom of your machine, at the front, there should be an outflow pipe thingy. It will flood your floor but empty the machine.Not sure how that will empty the water from my washing machine
