I used to work on a farm at the bottom of Glasgow Airport's runway as a boy picking fruit in the school holidays for money. There was no minimum wage - we got paid 8p for every punnetful we picked - it was us (a bunch of 13/14 yr olds), guys literally just in the country and one British adult who was a madman fae Feegie. If it rained, we got ****all and there's no bus to the farm site or anything - nearly everybody there walked it from Paisley or Renfrew. Some jobs aren't meant to be done for a long time by adults.
I used to do fruit picking for Wilkinson jam in Tiptree Essex as a kid . As Mr Cosby said these jobs are meant for kids to earn extra pocket money not for foreigner ****s to do whilst getting housing benefit tax credits child benefit etc . They don't pay tax and talk funny .
