Used to get pellets chop hem up and sell them for firewood when I was really young. Then boilers and any other copper outta empty houses when I was in my teens.
If it ain't draining some daft **** probably left a 5p piece in a trouser pocket If the machine was off and it filled up on it's own, then I can only guess the inlet valve is ****ed. But of course by all means call in an expensive engineer just to confirm what I just told yer
My step-daughter has experienced this many times, she said you have to take off the front of the machine below the drum and in there you will find a flimsy pair of knickers or a silly wee sock. Remove this and either stop wearing/washing flimsy knickers and socks or put them in a draw string bag before washing. I don't have this problem.
Buy a new machine and deposit the old one, in the dead of night, on a neighbour's doorstep, about 10 doors down should be far enough away. For added value you could post an anonymous note through the victim's door, a day or two later, claiming you saw it was the Pikeys across the road, wot done it.
