Sorensen is available from Stoke, 36 but last time I saw him he was quality.

Ive a better idea, why dont you create your own forum where you can have total control of what ppl post and how and when they post it.
with only you posting on it, you willl not have anyone to ignore.. but I bet you still cause arguments with yourself

I didn't want to post anything negative on Saturday, but Stockdale had a real stinker against Cardiff. He dropped the ball a lot and 80% of his goal kicks went straight out. His long throws were good and set up a few promising breaks, but overall he was poor.
From what I've seen he's a fairly solid keeper, but nothing special and he has a real problem judging high crosses when the penalty area is packed.

I hate criticising City players, but I think Mannone would be a much better option than Stockdale who would be a good No.2 if Fulham's price was reasonable (and he was willing, which I doubt considering lack of games was why he was unhappy in London.)

But if you ask Arsenal and Fulham fans, I'm sure Stockdale would come with a higher recommendation.

Maybe, but we've probably seen more of both players in action in the last couple of seasons than they have.

Appreciate everything for what Stockdale has done but he has not impressed me this season. Distribution is slow as is his reactions. I can't recall the last time he made a save

The question is how much does Papa and Bruce want to spend on the GK department. the problem is that all clubs know we are in need of a 1st choice keeper so we will get quoted silly money for any we enquire for in this country (£4 million for Stockdale being the obvious one and I don't think Stoke would sell us Sorenson on the cheap) So we may see a foreign keeper signed as Bruce signed Al Habsi at Wigan

I don't think he did, that was Martinez, who bought him in from Bolton.

Andy Warrington has just been released from Rotherham, wages wouldn't be too high.....

Seriously though, Simon Moore for me. He'll be in the England squad before long.

I'm surprised Friedel isn't being mentioned. He'll almost certainly hardly play next season and he'd be precisely what we are looking for.

I'm afraid I really don't rate Stockdale, I can barely remember him ever making a save. Yes the players like him, but they also like Mclean....

Nearly cost Brentford a goal there, but I suppose that's what you get with a young goal keeper, I'd take a couple of mistakes a season if he turns into the next Joe Hart like they say!
