Ainsworth visited the Toffees’ training camp on Tuesday to shadow the former Champions League winner, who has managed at the highest level with Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid amongst others. The Chairboys chief said: “I was lucky enough to be invited into Everton to watch Rafa take training. He’s a phenomenal manager and I can’t thank him enough for the invite. It was a real intimate day with one of the greatest managers this country has seen. “It was brilliant to get an insight into how they do things at the top level and there were plenty of learnings for me. I never want to stand still. The LMA are great at arranging these events and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity.”
