The red card was unfortunate as it ruined the game for me. However I think it has to be a red card, even though it was accidental. Wether you are going for the ball or not, you have to be aware of what is around you.

Hard really to judge the game after that, as Liverpool had no outlet after that, and could barely get out of their own half.

This is absolutely the point - there was no snide nor malice, but it was ****ing dangerous. The goalie didn't have his head at waist high or something. Salah did something similar to Bellerin at Anfield, but the crucial difference was that it was nowhere near his head, so was legitimate. But City were one down with ten men against Everton a few weeks ago - they didn't just fold and roll over. Astonishing how visibly we gave up when that second went in, but this is why City will be contenders and we won't; not just how they demolished us today, but how they themselves faced up to adversity.

Who says bookies dont know what they are talking about..<laugh> Just shows the gap between a title contender and what Liverpool can produce....A no contest at the end of the day.....
Mweh...it was only credit for free bets if won..

So you would have lost the winnings by a thousand cuts betting on your team a pound at a time.

Seriously a ****ing Swansea supporter still thinks they can walk it large on here lol....

Now now Tobes....we all feel bruised....were you at your match? Didn't see anything sky made it out you were kippered but.....
Yes but left on 75 mins. We were ****e. Spurs first was a fluke and the second had an obvious foul in the build up and killed the game though. Tactically ****ing awful by Koeman though

I only saw first half from about 10 mins in. Didn't see 2nd half, quite glad sounds like we were pants.

Red killed it, its one where 50% think red, 50% don't so just got to get on with that. Foot was high, he made contact, keeper ducked a bit. It was just the angles and speed made it all worse etc.

Defendingb for first 2 were atrocious. How there was such a huge gap between Klavan and Matip and no pressure on KDB to roll it through was outrageous and then Jesus just stands in middle of 6 yard box empty for the cross on 2nd.

Im not sure how otamendi wasn't sent off at 1-0 or 0-0 when guy clipped Mane when he was running through. On the way down Otamendi juat dived in 2 footed into his chest while he was on the floor! I know the ref had already awarded free kick but that seemed like should have been a straight red?

also thought was a foul on Gini for their first. The ball was in the air and the guy seemed to give him a nudge when he went up to header it?

as I say didn't see 2nd half? 2-0 down and 10 men imagine we weren't great and city were good which is to be expected really. Didn't see goals so no idea if defensive errors but given the first 2 were begs the question how we've gone into new season with a defence that is no better (if not worse) than last year

Oh I agree...at least on the it was under today's rules a red (although I still maintain if someone dips their head they are asking for trouble). And yes I was being an arse earlier.. didn't think a red live...but replays, straight high leg etc.... just thought I'd continue due to wums lol.

I disagree however on telling him not to go there. It's fractions. I want my strikers going for those balls....ive seen many many like that where the striker gets there first and is around the keeper or is flattened by the keeper and they are sent off. Otherwise might as well make the box 30 yards deep and continue this idea that the tallest heaviest guy on the pitch should be treated like he's a 4ft girl made of ice....

Frank, he dipped to about shoulder height, at most. Mane's only a small guy in comparison to their goalie, but still Mane had his foot as high as his own head. As for the melodrama with the paramedics, after Cech at Reading and Monghino's slurs about the ambulance service, the paramedics will take their time to make sure they tick every box with a head injury, and so they should.

I hope too that it shouldn't change Mane. Just bad, bad luck, but it was a red and I'm glad the goalie is not injured at all, let alone seriously.

To use a lame excuse that red killed the game dont wash....Teams get plenty of reds and dont let in 5 goals and some even go on to win......Klopp should have been able to change tactics to stop City having a field day......The red card did not ruin liverpool's day the managers inability what to do in that situation was the cause of the influx of goals. Klopp was poor and a lesson learned i hope.

Behave! Windy went into that challenger like he he had thoughts of interior designing and hairdressing going through his head. I agree that Moss gave us nothing, but it was a pen.
