The red card was unfortunate as it ruined the game for me. However I think it has to be a red card, even though it was accidental. Wether you are going for the ball or not, you have to be aware of what is around you.
Hard really to judge the game after that, as Liverpool had no outlet after that, and could barely get out of their own half.
This is absolutely the point - there was no snide nor malice, but it was ****ing dangerous. The goalie didn't have his head at waist high or something. Salah did something similar to Bellerin at Anfield, but the crucial difference was that it was nowhere near his head, so was legitimate. But City were one down with ten men against Everton a few weeks ago - they didn't just fold and roll over. Astonishing how visibly we gave up when that second went in, but this is why City will be contenders and we won't; not just how they demolished us today, but how they themselves faced up to adversity.
Just shows the gap between a title contender and what Liverpool can produce....A no contest at the end of the day.....
