Morning lads.
Any info on Danns? What we getting? Feeling is it’s a bit of a coup for us, looks tasty on the reels and obviously been trusted CL.
What we getting here?
Shown glimpses when played but his one actual start against psv was bit above his level - albeit was also a nothing game and much changed teams.
Has a bit of physicality and would say has a habit of being right place right time in the box.
goals he has scored for us (albeit limited) have been composed finishes.
High hopes for him, but big step up to be first team player compared to coming on in cup games for final 15-20’mins.
He’s likely be used for last 25 each game, when Wilson tires, so that’s not overly worrying.
We create a lot of chances so he will get plenty. What’s his hold up play like?
Not sure of the logic of this. Danns is a good finisher, but we saw against PSV that he does still have a lot to learn about overall link-up play. Nonetheless, we have five recognised strikers and are fighting on four fronts - if we progress to the next round of the FA Cup he could be useful, and there's always going to be at least one last-second hero match still left in this season, for sure.

Why is Mathys Tels going to Spurs? Has he no ambition?
Can't say I like him being pressurised in that way. He's not a politician or an official or anything - he's just a footballer and he doesn't have to explain himself to journalists.
