Has anyone mentioned this yet? I definitely wouldn't want him at the beginning of the transfer window, but things are so desperate now that this guy on loan for a year will still be better than nothing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23893239
He is an AM. We already have Rosicky, Jack and Santi. If we get an AM it should be a young one. We do not need Kaká
Cazorla= can't carry on his inhuman effort rates forever. Will tire/eventually get injured Wilshere= injury prone, cover needed (as already threatening to get injured again) Rosicky= not up to it anymore, definitely his last season unless massive improvement. Like I said, he's not ideal due to wage cost and age. But because a) time left b) above points c) a big name with quality and experience to lift mood in squad and club in general....might be a good short term solution. 1 year loan max. We'll still need a keeper and defender. But if we can't land the world class striker than he at least will improve the attacking threat. Plus the DM situation slightly improved by Flamini returning....another non ideal situation but, given the circumstances the clowns have put us in, its better than no cover for the likes of Arteta.
Kaka would indicate that Cazorla will be deployed more on the wing. I don't see Jack playing as the furthest forward of the MF, I see him more as a playmaker. How much has Kaka played in the last couple of seasons? He may still have a couple of good seasons in him with regular football as I don't think he's played huge amounts.
Looks like the only realistic Madrid target is Kaka. Do we need this 31 y.o. player? Formerly one of the best in the world and a very nice guy. But 31 ??
Kaka could be a great signing. There's no doubting the guys ability. Maybe with a run of games we could see the old Kaka back. Wenger has always been good at getting the best put of players. Di Maria also seems possible and would be a quality signing. Can't see Madrid selling Ozil though.(unfortunately)
Arsene's £70m Madrid swoop: Race against time to land Benzema, Di Maria and Ozil http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...land-Benzema-Di-Maria-Ozil.html#ixzz2dR5G0hpr It's these kind of things that makes me want to stop reading newspapers altogether. You couldn't get an article more made up than this load of tripe. All they do is play on the feelings of people, lie and give false hope. At least base it on something factual FFS.
What do you expect, it's a daily newspaper. All the journalists are interested in is making a living - they do that by selling papers-they do that by writing sensationalist crap-truth went out of the window a long time ago, especially with the tabloids sports press. 24 hour online news has kind of made newspapers redundant
You're right, i suppose i'm having an early morning moan. I really want the transfer window pulled back to a week or two before the start of the season. Instead of talking about the game itself, we're still stuck talking about transfers. Bloody stupid!
At last some one with a voice of reason: Sports journalist Oliver Kay of the Times: Uefa president Michel Platini says the summer transfer window is "perhaps too big, too long. Perhaps we'll have to shorten it". https://twitter.com/OliverKayTimes/status/373353065854013440
