Maybe this is a case of Speakman throwing TM under the bus before he gets questioned?
Four strikers brought in and zero goals......surely someone has to ask him that question.....or maybe TM did?
Or maybe they dont believe TM is getting the best out of them

I really like TM but the spark seems to have gone from us this season and weve become so predictable so not surprised theyve made this decision

They have been spot on with their appointments so far so hope they nail this one

Yeah, you'd like to think they'll be as spot on with choosing the 5th manager in less than 2 years as they were with the previous ones.

Well they got the previous decisions right:
Johnson started to change our style of football from the stuff parkinson had us producing

Johnson lacked a winning mentality so they upgraded to Neil, who got us promoted

Neil then left so they upgraded again with TM. They now feel we are going backwards so are hoping they upgrade for a 4th time

We would all love a manager here for longer than the last few

What the f… I’ve just come on, at this page, and was going to post of giving uncle Tony until new year… and I read this! I know people have been agitating for his dismissal, but I wasn’t expecting this so quickly. Further evidence that the owners are not prepared to hang about! They are determined to get into the premiership. I’d like to thank Mowbray for giving us some of the best football I’ve ever seen at this club, and wish him a happy Xmas spent with his family, and good luck for the future. (As long as it isn’t against us!)

I suspect they already have him(her?) lined up with the contract just needing signing. The next few days are not going to be boring.

Well what a shocker, but why are we so surprised?

Points wise we’re in relegation form, and performances have fallen off a cliff. It’s just as well we have points on the board.

Never was behind TMs appointment, but took to him last season, because of the blistering football we were playing.

However, for whatever reason we never showed up in the playoffs, and despite a good start, we’ve gone backwards since October.

His demeanour in front of camera, was embarrassing IMO, and the constant blaming of our new forwards was becoming boring.

So thanks Tony for some good memories last season, and best wishes for the future.

Now praying for the right appointment, just hope it’s not a mag or a smog!

Bart
I don’t care if it’s ex smog or even ex mag, as long as he’s successful - I’d even take Shearer! As long as he gets us into the premiership.

We aren't going down, so there really is no immediate danger. I'd be giving him until the end of the season at very least. I just don't see a rush to go up with the age of our squad, would rather lay some groundwork before we do.

Only concern is that we arguably have a better squad than last season and we don't necessarily look like we will finish better off.

If we go backwards, he will be gone.

No goals from any striker reads more to me like a problem with how we are playing than a problem with the strikers.

He's gone mate....unfortunately.

I think its a bad decision, but I don't own the club. The football we have played since he's been here has been a joy to watch. His interviews tells me he wanted a lot more experience in, but the club went down the young kids with potential route....never sure TM actually bought into this.
Never mind, The King is dead, long live the King....let's see who comes in
