The owner wanted promotion this seaon. Current form and the all round atmosphere around Mowbray hasn't exactly bred confidence. When the Manager is blaming a storm for one of the defeats, there's isn't long left. This departure hasn't been "You're sacked, right, who we gonna get"? Its been coming.They know.

Top bloke Mogga. Thanks for these past two seasons, some of the best football I've seen since Reids two 7th place finishes. Thought you'd had enough credit in the bank to be given the chance of turning the current dip around. You will always be fondly remembered for steadying the ship in the Championship after 4 years adrift in division 3.

I was told last month the Mowbray would either be "Moved up stairs or gone by January" and that a "player that's not long packed in will be coming in", but there was no names mentioned. so this has been coming and maturing since the middle of November at least.
