Also, is it just me that thinks Rusyn has looked really decent and effective in his limited game time? I think he'll get goals and I think he moves the opposition's defence around enough for us to create more opportunities for others too.

I'd like to see Aouchiche start with Rusyn ahead of him. I have a feeling he's going to be in the wilderness for a while now though.

i hope this established striker everyone thinks is going to sort everything out, can keep clean sheets, creates chances for him self, give us abit of width, over lap for roberts and clarke and can also give mowbray a plan B

i think mowbray has played it to a T to some fans always blaming a striker, took all the attention away from himself and in my opinion destroyed hemir confidence in the process of saving himself

Tony Mowbray doesn’t have to say a word for it to be obvious we need a striker.

We must be the only club in league football without a centre forward with a goal to his name.

You can blame a lack of creativity, but I’ve seen our current strikers miss a lot of chances this season.

It’s a skill knowing where to be in the box and so far none of our forwards demonstrate that they have that skill.

If you’re blaming Tony for not providing these forwards with service, maybe you should check their records before they come to the club. None of them are even close to being prolific, while 3 of them had barely kicked a ball in senior football before coming to the club.

I back Tony, because I’m looking at the facts, not a biased opinion.

if you want facts

are strikers are averaging about half a chance every 30 mins, out of the chances created goals they could of had with the average chance we've created for them are XG is 4

so that's about 4 decent chances we've created for are 4 strikers in 19 games

so at max between are 4 strikers it's 4 goals the should potentially be at with the chance we've created in 19 games,

but yes it's all the strikers fault

I think I can name 3 good chances our strikers have had.

Please watch the Huddersfield game again, Mayenda showed great movement and not once was the ball played into him.

Prichard is still better than them all for me and the team is simply better with him in it .the fact they want to move him on is the only reason he isn't starting games.

For me Pritchard is great for getting the team ticking but not enough of a goal threat, Dack a goal threat but a house end, Jobe a strong runner but not quite effective enough, Aouchiche not effective either other than sub cameo’s. I’d personally lose Pritch and Dack in Jan and go all out for Amad.

So frustrating. I mean it's ok if you think a player isn't worth a new contract, but surely you play your best team regardless of the behind the scenes politics?
Pushing Pritch out the door and favouring Dack is ****ing horrific

Is that not a bit contradictory? How are they missing a lot of chances (not that I can really think of many) if we're not creative and they don't have the skill of being in the right place?

Rusyn was pretty prolific before coming here.

They’re proven to be right like not the club
Nothing proven yet. Who is to say that a new head coach couldn't come in and get the strikers scoring goals? Rusyn and Mayenda at least look to have ability to me. I think Hemir does too but I know that's a more outlandish shout.

Pritchard has his limitations but for a flair player, he also puts a shift in. Dack hasn't shown anything yet apart from his bald patch and pot belly - I think I'll give his lass a call!

I reckon Speakmann/Mowbray expected Pritch to go and that's why they signed Dack. Now we have effectively 4 players for the same position.
They appear to be forcing Pritch out now by only giving him 20 mins here and there. I think it's a mistake

However, the creative midfield players aren't really creating - passing to Clarke and Roberts shouldn't be the only routes.

Well it’s December, the season kicked off in August we’re not far from the January window opening at the half season point and none have scored. Even if they pick up from now on that’s poor judgment. They all have something to offer but we needed at least one ready to go

Or poor management....

Why play him at all if they're forcing him out ...

... can't we just sell he next month?
