I’d drastically condense the whole thing but leave the Monarchy with a role. They don’t need these endless properties in my opinion. If the Queen can easily afford to spunk £10m paying off Andrew’s victim they’re clearly being paid too much. For those who are hoping that this all leads to the end of The Monarchy, can you at the same time say what you would replace it with.
Keep in mind please the examples that The World provides, of other Country's leaders.
Trump, Putin, Netenyahu all 'elected' leaders.
And of course we have our own Prime Ministers, who with a different constitution might have been 'Head of State'.
Blair, Johnson and Truss are just the most recent examples.
Lets not throw the Baby out with the bathwater.
Aye believe in the MONARCHY not in royal individualsYou do realise he could easily have been the king if born 1st and totally immune from arrest?
And you're firmly believing in that system - haway vic9 have a think about it.
I’m not wanting to get into an argument about this and there is of course another thread anyway, but…..I really don't think the whole truth will come out as long as Trump or Andrew are still alive unfortunately, especially the latter.
He seems to have an excessive amount of power, even for a president, and he's the one that should be the main focus for any investigation. It's like he's untouchable.
Only hope is that someone internal gets so angry by it all they leak the full unredacted papers
I’m not wanting to get into an argument about this and there is of course another thread anyway, but…..
Considering a senior member of a senior monarchy within Europe has been arrested because of the Epstein files and that the Democrats have tried, with the best lawyers in the world to unsuccessfully prosecute Donald Trump, there may well be nothing in the files to incriminate him.
You may hate Trump and you can do that, but it’s probably not healthy to project that hatred into something that probably isn’t there just because you want it to be true.
All the people involved will have died, whether naturally or in suspicious circumstances, by the time any semblance of the truth comes out.We will probably never know the truth anyway for years of not decades. Every single person mentioned should be giving evidence in person for the sake of the victims.
That’s something we can agree onWe will probably never know the truth anyway for years of not decades. Every single person mentioned should be giving evidence in person for the sake of the victims.
You might also say it's not healthy to assume something 'probably isn't there' just because you want that to be true.I’m not wanting to get into an argument about this and there is of course another thread anyway, but…..

Whatever the political, business, wealth status or privilege of those involved, if they want people to respect the rule of law it needs full investigating, top to bottom. Everything in the open except the victims names. The said poster should want that as an ex copper. It was made clear last week that more is hidden than sorted. Without truth there will be rumour. You might also say it's not healthy to assume something 'probably isn't there' just because you want that to be true.
It's all going to come spilling out now.....Andrew charged taxpayers for massage when envoy, claim ex-civil servants https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdr232j8kgvo
I’m not an ex copper mate. I still am one. I value the truth and integrity above anything. It’s one of the reasons I became a police officer. I’m proud of my job, just as I was proud of my military service to the UK.Whatever the political, business, wealth status or privilege of those involved, if they want people to respect the rule of law it needs full investigating, top to bottom. The point I tried to make is that there is a lot of hate for Trump on here. Most of which is fed by the media who have their own agenda. If Trump is as terrible as he is made out to be then I suspect that would have all come out by now and he would be the most hated man on the planet. That so many have looked and looked and looked and not found anything that puts him on par with a Hitler/Stalin/Mussolini hybrid says something don’t you think?
I’m not saying he is a saint. We all know that he isn’t and he won’t be immune if he is like that.
Andrew has been arrested and he is part of a much older institution that seeks to protect itself at all costs. An institution with more to lose than Donald Trump.
You and others can hate him as much as you want. But that hate has to be driven by his actions not by hyperbole.
Aye, no doubting hes behaved appallingly and needs dragging to a court to face justice. Horrible bloke.....but hes not a *****.....yet?
Mandelson has been arrested now!
