...we were never angels mind, far from it, but we knew if we got caught the coopper would give us a sore ear and if they took us to our door our dads would make the othe rone sore, politeness and common sense are what we live don, break either or both and there was another couple of sore ears, or worse.

Even at 15/16 I was scared of my teachers and even more scared of what my parents would do if the teacher called home. We were brought up to stand up for ourselves, but to respect adults/people in authority.
It's heart-breaking to here some of the stories on here - I know it's a minority, but that minority seems to be growing with each passing year

Eden Hazard retired. A hell of a good footballer. Got kicked to bits at times and I suspect he carries his share of pain around now. Shame he never got to play for Real much, but injuries caught up with him.

I got wrong off Mrs Smug for saying Captain Tom's daughter was a fraud and she'd be dipping into the donations ...

... not so smug tonight eh pet <laugh>

PLANNING chiefs have ordered Captain Tom's daughter to tear down an unauthorised building after plans for a pool complex were rejected.

Hannah Ingram-Moore, 52, and hubby Colin told planners they wanted an office for the charity set up in their father’s name at their £1.2million Bedfordshire home.

But they instead built a 50ft by 20ft pool house with changing rooms, toilets and showers.

Mrs Smug ...

.... nur nur nuh nur nur <laugh>

Watching this rugger world cup game. Feels like one of those sporting clashes for the ages.

Every time I see him play I become more and more impressed. Even from those clips you can see he is a level above what was on the pitch there. Am really excited to see where we are in 2 to 3 years and how far this exciting crop of young players take us

I was getting a bit shopping in early today in a well known supermarket. It dawned on me that people are becoming more and more ignorant. Basic manners have seemingly disappeared, everyone in a rush. Acknowledgment of when you've let someone pass is zero. Some bellend pulled into a carpark by coming in the wrong way forcing me to stop then looking at me like I'm the dickhead. Everyone just seems so entitled these days. Correct me if I'm wrong, cynical without reason or just moaning but dear me, people have become arseholes.
