The other way round to look at it is that we are so much better than Cardiff that they can't finish ahead of us with a 6 point head start. Odds are we're out of the relegation zone tomorrow never to return, and even if we're not we're still in a better place than them.

Yeah we're poor, Cardiff are awful.

Actually, scratch that. Looking at Cardiff's run in to the end of the season they could really struggle for points. If I'm being optimistic from their perspective, I realistically see them getting a maximum of 10 points from their remaining fixtures. That takes them to 35 points.

Looks about right, markets have got them at 32-33, us at 37-38, so that's how much spare change we have.

Warnock: "We will probably be in the bottom three when we go to Wolves and people will be writing us off. I know my team for the Wolves game and I want people who will be in the trenches because I was let down by one or two tonight. I'm not going to throw the towel in and I'll make sure we are ready for Saturday." - BBC

If you're looking at the BBC website (or probably other websites for that matter), do note that their away match to Brighton isn't showing because it hasn't yet been announced when it'll be arranged for.

But you might have factored that game into your thinking.

There’s some weird teams in the league this year. On any given game they could thrash a team or get thrashed themselves. It’s almost just luck of the draw if you get them on a good day or bad day.
