It certainly should ease some of the tension tomorrow. Hopefully the players and fans will be more relaxed and won't create a tense atmosphere.
Even with the throwing away of 2-0 leads, and not beating any of Palace, Burnley, Newcastle or Brighton at home, and losing to Fulham, and last minute goals against; we'd be ELEVEN points clear of the relegation, with a game in hand at home to Fulham to come, if you could just switch those two Cardfiff results
Work is going to drag tomorrow. Will be click watching the entire day thinking about kick-off. At least this isnt boring!
Well, that couldn't have gone better. Now we need to do our part; failing to win tomorrow might not be as catastrophic as it would have been had Cardiff/Brighton picked up points, but we still reeeeeeeeeeeally need a win.
Huddersfield play Brighton on Saturday (with Fulham playing Chelsea on Sunday). It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they could get themselves off the bottom come Saturday evening. (And if they do, it'll have been a fantastic few days for us.)
Hell, just take away the two late goals and we'd be 5 clear, plus a pile of GD. That'd be enough to consider ourselves fairly safe.
The other way round to look at it is that we are so much better than Cardiff that they can't finish ahead of us with a 6 point head start. Odds are we're out of the relegation zone tomorrow never to return, and even if we're not we're still in a better place than them.
