If Arsenal go on to win the league, whoever injured him should win all the club’s Player of the Season Awards
Not sure they can give their POTS to a City player, as he was pretty much by himself when it happened.
Everton on verge of takeover by multi billionaire Friedkin Group, who also own Roma. They’ve invested heavily at Roma and won the Europa League since the takeover so likely to do the same at Everton
They were always going to get away with it. It’s still baffling though given the amount of debt a new owner will have to take on In this one it’s not clear who the top club of the group will be. Initially Roma but it could switch
Picked the wrong 3pm kick off to follow, although Arsenal are 2-0 up against Leicester. Cole Palmer 4 Brighton 2 at HT.
I’m surprised the PL hasn’t been suspended for the season. City having their ONE player injured means they are disadvantaged. Either that or all other PL teams asked to rest their best player against City.
Everton winning at home to Palace can't be considered as unexpected. Leicester coming from 2 down to pick up a point at the Emirates would have been. Always a crushing blow to concede that late too.
Be interesting to see how we get on at Arsenal next week as a comparison. Then we obviously play each other after international break.
Leicester's next 4: Bournemouth home Us away Forest home Ipswich home Cooper desperately needs to pick up some points there or he'll be gone I suspect.
Depends on how toxic it gets. The Leicester fans hate him anyway cos he managed Forest and if they're still winless going into that match against them then it could boil over if its not going well. Though for what it's worth I think they will pick up a fair few points in this run.
