The current PL record for most yellow cards is 14 (Palhinha, Capoue, Holebas, Cattermole, Tiote, Savage, and Mark Hughes for us).

Morsy is already in four for Ipswich!

If he breaks the record, he'll also be the first player to hit the three match ban threshold for 15 yellows.

I can't see it happening whilst we're still in touch with 17th. If a decent gap starts to open, then I could see a change. At the moment, two points is nothing to worry about.

Yeah I can see that logic.

Im not sure our current approach will work, so the whilst the gap is small, id rather make the change now so it isn’t a canyon.

Neville was going livid at Wolves last night, for all their sideways and backwards passing when losing. We're not the only ones who are guilty, albeit we do take it to extreme more than anyone other "smaller" club.

But yeah, absolutely I wish we'd show more attacking intent. It's maybe why I refuse to write off Sulemana (even though pretty much everything would suggest that I should), because I can't shake off the possibility that it's Martin's style which is hindering him. But he might just be useless.

PS. The Chelsea was great because of Brighton's new suicide high line tactics. They're going to be fun to watch as a neutral this season! Forest also walked straight through them last week.

Should’ve heard Sherwood going mental about Chelsea and Brighton yesterday as well

How many times were we linked with Delap in the past?, he's looking the business in the PL.
We tried to sign him last time in the premier league but city wouldn’t sell. Apparently tried this year and he chose Ipswich. I expect we might have got him if we had stayed up

Think it was Neville who said that he could only see Ipswich surviving of the promoted teams because us and Leicester had been in the PL too recently so the home fans wouldn’t be as bothered essentially as Ipswich who hadn’t been in the league for 20 years, making Portman road a very hard place to visit.

Good result for them today, being hard to beat is not a bad thing even if they still haven’t won a game

There's a hell of a lot to admire about Ipswich and their never say die spirit. I sometimes wish that we would play a bit more percentage direct football when the game is on the line in the last 10 minutes.

I think their tactics in general were admirable in that game. Sit in, and then break at pace where possible.

I think Villa's only shot on target, beyond their two goals, was Barkley's long ranger.

I'm still not convinced it will be enough to keep Ipswich up. But I do give that style a better chance than our style.
