That's ridiculous!! Pretty low even by your standard.
Keane admitted that he went to break Haaland's leg!..
Where as Dembele meant to brush a hair off Costa's eye lid?

There was no need for the comment apart from to increase tension and pressure. We're not stupid, we knew that Chelsea would want to beat us at Stamford Bridge.
The teams don't like each other so it was always going to be a physical game. However Twattenburg allowed it to descend into a battle.
If Clattenburg got anything wrong it was allowing Spurs to keep 11 players on the pitch. Maybe he should have sent one or two of them off and that might have prevented the game descending into an ugly battle. What a crock of ****If Clattenburg got anything wrong it was allowing Spurs to keep 11 players on the pitch. You are trying to defend the indefensible.
So where do you draw the line given that eye gouging is apparently acceptable? That's ridiculous!! Pretty low even by your standard.
Keane admitted that he went to break Haaland's leg!..
Seriously NSIS, are you justifying Dembele's eye gouge by saying it's because Hiddink questioned spurs' stomach for the fight?
Listen to yourself.
Manager mind games are all part of the game. Your players took the bait and paid the price.

Exactly.
The ref DID allow it to descend in to a battle, but only because he kept the ****ing idiots causing the **** on the pitch when their asses should have been hauled off.
Seeing as the ref missed the eye gouging, the stamp and the off the ball kicking, the FA should step in and charge those players and the club for failing to keep it's players under control and for their manager encroaching onto the field of play. Personally I think Spurs should be docked 3 points![]()

So where do you draw the line given that eye gouging is apparently acceptable?
Who gets to decide where the line is drawn? Is it a moveable line depending on how aggrieved/bitter you're feeling at any given moment?
Had Costa gouged Dembele's eye would that have been acceptable because Dembele also wanted to win the game?
Dembele has not admitted that he intended to injure Costa. It looked more like a playground fight. Keane freely admitted that he intended to cripple Haaland.
There lies the big difference!

You melt!
What other intent is there with an eye gouge?![]()
So answer the question.....What else could he possibly have intended to do by sticking his finger in another players eye, other than injure him?
Keane admitted it several years later in his book.Dembele has not admitted that he intended to injure Costa. It looked more like a playground fight. Keane freely admitted that he intended to cripple Haaland.

You're sounding a bit Scouser about Suarez now fella. If Costa's head was moving - entirely likely in that sort of situation - then it is feasible that Dembele didn't intend to go for his eyes. As I say, he's not that type of player, but as I've admitted it did look like that. Id be interested to hear what either Costa or Dembele have to say about what happened.

Even if he didnt intend to get him in the eye, but he still went for his face, which is a straight red card offence.
