Come on, Massa is well out of his depth now and is dragging Ferrari down. Perez, Kobayashi or Di Resta <ok>
 
Di Resta I'd imagine is being ear-marked for McLaren potentially. Perez is the obvious choice due to his ties to the Ferrari team. I'd take him over Kobayashi as I rate him a lot

It won't be Bianchi. Ferrari aren't going to drop Massa for someone with no race experience of F1.
 
Probably not, but if everyone accepts that the number 2 seat is a write off this season, it'd be a good way to bed him in. No pressure on him, and learn from Fernando
 
Massa was mentally destroyed when Hamilton took away the WDC from him and of course he also got a hefty whack on the head, and Filepe Massa has never been quite the same again and is unlikely ever to recover his best form, so, sadly, the reality is, its down and out for Massa.
 
Massa should have gone at the start of this season. Ferrari are miles behind in the constructors' championship, and they would be in a worse postion still if it weren't for Fernando. Perez has to be the man...
 
Why Perez, why not Kamui? Perez is more ambitious, he may cause Fernando issues, Kamui is quiet and polite and gets on with the job, no fuss.
 
I'm tempted to say that Ferrari will repeat the example of Massa with Perez; loan him to Sauber for two years, give him a testing role for one, then stick him in the car to replace their long-standing Brazilian driver who is a clear number 2.

If I'm honest I think what they need is someone to help set the car up for Alonso more than anything else, which is more Kobayashi's thing. But if they plan to put Perez in the car, they might go for a stop-gap until next year. Those Webber to Ferrari rumours look increasingly more convincing!

Webber had difficulty understanding "maintain the gap" from C. Horner last year. I doubt Fernando would react quite as nicely as Vettel to a teammate that doesn't follow the orders. Not saying Alonso throws the toys out of the pram, but I'd imagine he likes to have total control, as Schumacher had

Webber tends to follow orders to a degree; he's just a bit outspoken about it (Silverstone 2010 being the key example). He's also undeniably a very quick driver even if he's not the qualifying specialist of the grid. As a result I think he would compliment Alonso quite well.
(And to be fair, Massa and Alonso had a bit of a race last time out in Bahrain, so it's hardly unprecedented)
 
Massa is absolutely useless. There is no room in F1 for Drivers that struggle as much as he is (unless you pay and race for hrt). The sooner Ferrari replace him, the sooner people will realise the Ferrari is not half as bad as everyone thinks.
 
I hate to say this, but Ferrari really need to consider their options now. Massa got lapped by Alonso, who nearly won. There shouldn't be that large a difference in pace between the 2 cars. Clearly Massa isn't the driver he used to be, and Ferrari should have realised this by now, and should consider one of the Sauber pair as a replacement.
 
I was a fan of Massa, but now I'm sick of him. He's a disgrace to that other Ferrari in that team. Any other driver could do a better job than he could. Even Petrov, Senna or Pic would have more guts to try rather than give up like he is doing, 2 points ffs, 2 points!!! Out of 5 races...

That Ferrari is better than what the media and Ferrari themselves try to make out, it's far closer than it was in Bahrain, it's just looks worse because Massa is crap. If he got replaced by somebody like Sutil or Ambrosio they might get within 20-30 seconds of Alonso, but at least they would get solid points.

I respect Alonso but this downplaying of their car by him and Ferrari saying they're still half a second a lap off is now crap and just mind games to keep the pressure on the other drivers.

Half a second off what? an RB6!?!? He finished a minute ahead of the nearest RB8!
