Five years ago I would have said no to all three. Either Rowatt or Dyche could do a job for us, preferably mosh pit Dyche.

The last thing the club needs at the moment is more uncertainty. The 6 point deficit is surmountable if the team can get their act together under the new manager. If they can't then they deserve to be relegated. If the appeal fails and the penalty is increased then things at the stadium could turn toxic which will help no one.

While the elite big clubs get away with bending the so called rules! I am all with us to fight against the points deduction, we might be fu#ked up on and off the pitch but i believe the legal team have something up their sleeves, so good luck to them.

The Premier League really seem to be being vindictive towards us. The case went to a panel who assessed the case and set the punishment accordingly. Obviously wanting to show how powerful they think they are, they demand that we should have been penalised 20 points meaning certain relegation. The people affected the most are us fans, our team will be down to a lower league, our better players will leave and a return to the championship will be made harder, the feelings of the fans seem to have been discarded long ago now. My thinking of us challenging the six point deduction is to try and negate the premier league’s appeal. The premier league should accept we’ve been punished and not act spitefully to inflict more misery. I know fans of other clubs will say we deserve everything we get, and the six point penalty seemed broadly accepted by everyone, but it would be more graceful if the premier league just left us now to battle out the rest of this season.

First half was absolutely woeful... second really encouraging...

Mukasa is some talent ...

Need to sort the defensive fragility out ...

... and still need a goalscoring striker ... would love to see them give Lorenz Hutchinson from the U21s a go... kid's goalscoring stats are mad...

I thought we improved as the first half went on, we were on top from about the half hour mark. Winks had a good game, I wonder if Cifuentes would still be in a job if he’d played him? Winks and James should be a good partnership at the base of midfield once James is fit, need him back asap. Monga was growing into the game and I thought it a bit harsh taking him off when he did, Aribo isn’t a natural wide man so it didn’t make sense swapping them. I hope we don’t come to rue Thomas’s missed header at the end, I could have scored that, its potentially two big points lost.

Well, that was a surprise!

We managed some decent football in both halves.

If seemed that there may have been a bit of a shift in attitude and a bit more fight in them tonight. Or, it might be a false can like beating Ipswich and Derby...
