I think the Results, performances and Dick had all that in hand. All I think Mickey Gray did was force the statement.
We will never know mate, like I say, and like you say it hasn't endeared Micky to myself or a lot of people, but I on't think it's harmed us as it happens.
I wouldnt be surprised if the club engineered it a little!! A head scratcher for sure but 100% better then "we can shop in harrods now" or flashing our bank balance for the world to see then subsequently wonder why way pay $12million for Steven ****ing Fletcher.

**** knows

Not suggesting we threw games are you? :p

It's all gone rather quiet.

Don't like this 6pm malarky. Deadline day is much better having a few cold ones in front of SSN when the window shuts at midnight.

This checking twitter etc at work is no good.

I'm happy enough if we dont bring anymore in. Would like to see some shifted like. Pva will improve with Borini providing more coverage and suddenly it wont be so bad. Plus were gonna score a **** ton anyways

Naismith and McGeady update:
Norwich City and Sunderland are understood to have enquired about the availability of Steven Naismith.

Everton are not looking to sell the Scotland international and the 29-year-old remains happy at the club and with life on Merseyside.

But Naismith, who has come off the bench in all four Premier League games this season, is itching for more game time.

And with crunch Euro 2016 qualifiers coming up for his country, Naismith told the ECHO last month: "At this moment in time, this first month is OK because you've had pre-season and training is still quite intense but as the month goes on and you weren't playing that much then you would need to re-evaluate and see what you need to be doing to get in the team and get more games."

The future of Aiden McGeady also remains uncertain, with just over three hours of the transfer window remaining.

Sunderland were linked with the winger in January and could be interested in the Republic of Ireland international again.

I wish but I doubt it.

I think we are done, not disappointed though:
Lens
MVilla
Toi
Borini

All improve us.

Kaboul and Mathews replace like for like in some ways Vergini and Rev.

Just went to Monaco I believe. Do need a couple of defenders though.

Don't know who it is but Dan King follows him so he must be a reporter at least. How reliable I don't know.

You know everyone you fella!! Too much time on your hands. ;) (I speak in jest but I actually take your word on players over pretty much every pundit)

I'm not really a fan of many TV shows etc, so I spend most of my time if I'm not at work or out and about watching sport. If you think your average person watches maybe 3 or 4 hours TV a day, then that's all sport, mainly football, and that's why I watch a lot of football.

I gamble a lot as well so it pays to keep an eye on all kinds of leagues etc. As such, I get paid to watch a lot of football, haha.

I have 2 young kids. I am, at best, 3rd in line to the TV in the house for most of an evening. I hate you! <cheers>
