I’m down in Norfolk at the in-laws for Christmas and I dare say it might be a bit of a tough one.

My brother in law died, unexpectedly, around Easter time aged 46 and my mum passed away last week, cancer got her.

I’ll raise a glass to the pair of them on the day, a single malt.

On that note, to all the whiskey lovers out there I’d definitely recommend Drumshanbo single pot distilled Irish whiskey.

For the price, it’s outstanding.

Sincere condolences Carmine on your losses. Christmas is never an easy time for missing relatives. This will be the 8th without my Mum, she loved Christmas, which makes it a bit harder.

Raising a glass for all absent family and friends.

My deepest condolences, it's never a good time to happen, but at this time of the year doubly hard.

Been a rubbish year this one, burying my cousin Gloria on the 21st, rip for your loss sir…

It's going to be a tough one, Carmine, I'm glad you won't be lonely though. That's the worst thing.

Give us a post Christmas day. I'm lucky, I'll be surrounded by family, doing my head in.

Remember, Christmas is all about the kids x
