That would have suited an old aunt of my father's in Darlington, she always sent a Xmas card written in pencil and expected the same card back the next year. This went on for a number of years, with 2 cards in circulation going back and forth until she passed away. My father then invited all other relatives around who had, had, the same situation and had a ceremonial burning of them all with much laughter and beer flowing.
