I’m down in Norfolk at the in-laws for Christmas and I dare say it might be a bit of a tough one. My brother in law died, unexpectedly, around Easter time aged 46 and my mum passed away last week, cancer got her. I’ll raise a glass to the pair of them on the day, a single malt. On that note, to all the whiskey lovers out there I’d definitely recommend Drumshanbo single pot distilled Irish whiskey. For the price, it’s outstanding.
There is never ever a good time.... condolences re your Mum CG, she's only ever a blank away..... have as good a Christmas as you can...
Sincere condolences Carmine on your losses. Christmas is never an easy time for missing relatives. This will be the 8th without my Mum, she loved Christmas, which makes it a bit harder. Raising a glass for all absent family and friends.
Spain cancelled, freezing my tits off on kingswood ****sake !!!! Only Ray of sunshine is my grandkids are coming over on the 22nd until 6th of Jan….
It's going to be a tough one, Carmine, I'm glad you won't be lonely though. That's the worst thing. Give us a post Christmas day. I'm lucky, I'll be surrounded by family, doing my head in. Remember, Christmas is all about the kids x
Always missed and Xmas makes the memories run deep but lovely memories of your family times gone past. Enjoy that whiskey pal.
