Jim Davidson was pretty much the one that launched Jethro in to the mainstream and they were very close friends, and he does a cracking impression of him.
You have to have seen Jethro to fully appreciate it, but Jim was retelling a Jethro Joke in his accent, so you need a bit of imagination, and it went on longer on the clip I saw but here's my bastardised version...
"I was walking along a cliff top path, when away in the distance, I saw a figure, and I wasn't sure if it was one of my very good friends, and I could see he was looking in my direction, trying to work out if it was me or not, and as we got closer, we were both still trying to work it out, until we got close up, and realised it wasn't either of us".

Okay you lot, as Christmas day fast approaches just wanted to wish all the Tiger nation a lovely Christmas and a healthy New year. Spare a thought .. finish work at 1 today and will be on the roads heading to family in Essex, for the festive period, given the reports of bedlam on the roads expected I may or may not get there for tomorrow !! The lure of mince pies eh ? Hopefully very soon we'll all have something to celebrate alongside our Lynx Africa !!!
