As you are all enjoying yourselves and moaning about trivial things like family members having covid, plans disrupted, spare a thought for this woman and her family. I just hope that in time, given the support necessary, they might be able to recover. Who knows, one day she might be able to get to Tescos herself.

A word of warning. It's A Wonderful Life is on this afternoon. You may think this is one of the best Christmas films ever but apparently it is "problematic". This is because James Stewart's character suddenly grabs his wife and kisses her. He did so without asking her and in doing so invaded her space.
Just warning you, don't want anyone's Christmas spoilt by their better half of children being traumatised by such goings on.

That's tragic. Really tragic and just serves to put our petty squabbles into perspective.

I'm away to set up a Just Giving page for these ****s.

No way The Mirror can afford to keep this level of investigative journalism up without extra funding.

No mention of a dad to help out. Quelle surprise.

To be fair, if I asked my wife for a cheese board and she came back with Cheesestrings, I too would be out of the picture. What do you reckon she serves them with? Dairylea triangles, a couple of Babybels and a packet of Mini Cheddars?

Fortunately my wife came back with two. Though the Blue Stilton will go before either.

Hi all, just wanted to take a minute to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, most of all good health! These days people don't spend much time or thought on writing personal words to their friends , family and colleagues, they just copy and paste some random message and send it on. So after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy and fulfilling 2022 you’re the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for. Best wishes, Helen xxx
