It's really only traditional at Christmas, as people like to have one in the fridge so they can chop a slice off when they're hungry and are too pissed to cook anything.

I have pork pie in the fridge all year round!

My oldest is having her first (and only at 43) brought forward to a pre-xmas managed caesarean, a boy. She never thought it would happen, then one very confident consultant came along with a game changer - everything looking good and can't wait for this Christmas Box...

...the medical support, from three different hospitals, is simply amazing and flies in the face of so much negativity.

Personally I question the sanity of anybody that doesn't always have a pork pie in the fridge. For us Pork Pie is a year-round thing but at Christmas we switch it up to Game Pie.
