Turkish village cheese is sublime mind.
Have to share this.
Think Feta but crumblier and more flavoursome.
Tastes lovely with a sun ripened tomato.

Do they sell that in Tesco? Hard to get good cheese here as they are not really into dairy and Australian cheese is boring. Got a very nice Artisan French Brie last night and had it on crackers while watching the Sunday footie.
Normally smuggle it in to Indonesia from UK after a trip to UK. While they have death penalty here for drug smuggling it's just a mild beating for cheese smuggling so worth the risk.

Do they taper the punishment though?
Mild cheese = 20 lashes
Strong cheese = 40 lashes
Gorgonzola= 1000 lashes

They probably couldn't tell the difference. Good thing is being a Muslim country they don't have the drug and food sniffing dogs like Australia, US or UK.

I've recently discovered Mahon from Ibiza.

Perfect with a chilli jam and a glass of Rioja.
