Ouch my head, ****, what did I get up too last night, where my phone...... hello officer...
Also counts as rape
Also counts as rape

He could apologise for the shame he's brought on his family, friends and the football world, and also the harm and distress he's caused the victim and her family and friends.
I didn't claim the tweets didn't exist. I said it is irrelevant if they do. If she'd said she'd agree to sex with Evans then you'd have a point, but she didn't say that. Claiming she was going to "win big" (which could mean £10,000 compensation) just means she's not a sweet little angel. As does her sleeping with MacDonald. Unfortunately for Evans the jury didn't believe him when he lied to get into the room and had consensual sex with her and then sneaked out the fire escape.
Violence? Where was the violence exactly?
He was convicted of rape off the back of the victim claiming she was unable to remember whether she'd said yes.
There was no injuries or signs of struggle.
This entire case opens up a debate on exactly what does man need to do these days to confirm that he's got consent?
No means no, was always the message and rightly so, it now appears that 'I can't remember saying no' is enough to go down and be labelled a rapist., in the same category as some violent pervert who grabs some poor woman into the bushes.
The amount of compensation she received will be dependent upon the damage she suffered.
Talking of Eastenders, being convicted of murder wasn't an obstacle to someone following their career on there.Yet for a footballer convicted of rape, an act where violence didn't occur and would more accurately be described as taking advantage of a drunk young woman, there is to be no chance of doing the same. How do you know what a victim of sexual violence behaves like afterwards? There isn't a script to follow you know. It's not an episode of Eastenders.
The amount of compensation she received will be dependent upon the damage she suffered. I would expect somebody who had been beaten up whilst being raped to have received more compensation then her. Although the frequent change of identity and address won't come cheap and, now he's earning may come from his wages.
I hope that is as clear as the legal position.

Lied to get in to the hotel room. Do you know what he said? He could have said his brother is in their and needs his medication.
Left via the fire escape. High profile person sneaks out after cheating. Never happened before, ever......
Also she may well have agreed. She couldn't remember though. Infact she couldn't remember agreeing to the other guy either.
Oh right so the new advice is ensure that there's CCTV footage of you arriving with the person you have sex with otherwise you're a potential rapist. BrilliantThe same as MacDonald, he was found not guilty. She want willing with MacDonald to an hotel room and had sex. All her behaviour implied consent and he was found not guilty.
There is no CCTV evidence of her with Evans other then her lying in the street and him looking on. There is no evidence that she talked to him before he let himself into the hotel room unannounced. He lied to get the key and walked out the fire door to avoid being seen. He gave evidence in the box and the jury thought he was not telling the truth so convicted him.
My advice would be, if your mate picks up a drunken woman think three or four times before you join in, especially if there's no CCTV coverage of you all going to the room together.
You've ignored the possibility that she may have been made aware of the chances of chasing him directly via a civil action
I hope that clears up your complete ignorance![]()

Ultimately, the system found him guilty, based on his evidence.
Sexual violence is any unwanted sexual act or activity. As she was deemed unable to have consented this is what it was. Why do blokes always think its worse if you're dragged into some bushes?
About 50p then.
Because it is worse.
Did you know it can be rape if the person you slept with lied about their identity?
Don't forget that signed contract of consent. To be safe it would be best that minutes were taken. Just incase.

It's worse because you say it is? Or because you think it is? Two seperate things there fella.
