No sorry, just kidding. Thank you, Lamb. It's nice to be appreciated occasionally. Supermods brb and Minxy [the one you fancy apparently - you'll have to explain that sometime] pop over here to get some breathing space and to see what sanity looks like. Most of the other very busy forums are in bedlam every so often. You wouldn't believe the trouble caused by the QPR forum recently. Heads rolling, people quitting, legal action threatened [not kidding this time]..!
Exactly TSS. Which is why the quite preposterous over-reaction by the mods last night is proving so galling for the majority. And now, in a spate of "we're not listening", you extend the bans. Wow. But seemingly you guys won't take that on board. Completely unnecessary.
No the ban hasn't been extended at all....you were all told how long it was and the reason by the mods now just move on or move off whatever is your preference.
The purpose of a forum is to encourage discussion surely, not gain breathing space (or should that be Lebensraum?)

I don't know what that means Conor, but sorry, I'm personally really fed up that this butting of antlers has led to this. Really rather pathetic to the extreme.
Joe and Dan had allegedly been getting close to the line for a while and finally pushed too hard. Not sure what else the mods could have done tbh. Yes they are both popular posters but if they broke the rules so be it.
Hopefully the both of them and whoever else has left temporarily will come back on Friday as usual and normal business will be resumed. It would be a real shame if this has put certain posters off permanently. The mods need consistency though now, and as Schad said yesterday, if they govern by the rules used on Dan and Joe then there will be no one left on this forum.
But nobody seems to be prepared to say what this line was that they'd been getting close to was? I certainly never saw them acting in a way that was at all worse than CBK, North London Saint, Pie, jeeze probably myself on occasion. Nowhere near.
And nobody seems to be able to point out what rule they broke? They were having a (admittedly bit silly) joke that could have been stopped by saying "guys, enough of this now or we'll close the thread. Point made" or something. Banning them, then seemingly extending a ban is ludicrous and smacks of wanting to 'get' them for some reason.
Agree with you totally on the first point. We dont know what the accumulated actions were though we do know it wasnt just about last night.
Why dont you PM Chilco or TSS LTL they might be able to give more details.
