Speaking as a Saturday and Sunday clogger who did his achilles in the eighties, he won't know how he is until he's played full on and took a few whacks on it, which of course will come.

I was ****e anyway, but after mine, I wasn't even the same ****e!

Used to love my Sunday football. Always different levels of ****e.

Me too. Stood with my son and one of my best mates. Great feeling.

Stood there with my Dad, who I've gone with for as long as I can remember. Special.

I love him as a player, everything you want from a CF. Big shoes to fill whoever comes in, with the circumstances I think that looks like a good deal for us.

It's not a leg brace, that's his suitcase. And you can get Costa from inside Boots in Newcastle Airport.

There's just as much chance of it being a recent photo to it being an older one.

That image within the text also doesn't show up anywhere else on the internet (according to TinEye anyway), so a good chance it's not an older picture.
So where in the airport is he sitting? Looks like a raised balcony as he has his arm on a railing.

Glad it seems to be sorted finally. Happyish with 10 million happier he’s out of the door after what seems to be the worst kept secret in the clubs history about him wanting to be away. Seems to have been going to happen for 2 years and the injury just delayed the inevitable.

I don’t think we will have time to get a replacement in for the third window and we will play until January with Patterson up front.
Hope I’m wrong with that but I am getting the impression Mowbray is speaking out of turn to force hands behind the scenes and they are not for forcing.

He's a grown man though, not a five year old.

Christ, WMS have their tomatos out already. If we don’t reinvest the money, bad. If we DO reinvest the money, also bad because Will Grigg. Unbelievable man, honestly.

So by his logic we should never spend money on a player because will grigg was ****e?

Yeah decent considering what we discussed previously
Do you know, based on your medical/sports injury expertise whether the club will already know whether Stewart is capable of returning to his pre-injury levels or is it a case of nothing being certain until he's actually out there playing?

I've heard a lot of the issue with achilles injuries and the reason that a lot of players are never the same again is the psychological impact of the injury.
