If he turns up at Southampton with his leg brace still on they probably won't even bother doing the medical!
Imagine the medical team at Southampton waiting for him to arrive to do his medical, and he walks in with his leg brace on

It is like. Absolutely no telling whether he's even still the same player after a serious injury like that.

No idea at this stage, but I do know that his injury finished the career's of some decent players. John Barnes lost all his pace after the same injury for instance, was never the same player again.
shame and i'll always have a soft spot for him, the feeling i got when that ball hit the net at Wembley will live with me forever.The only time i'll put 'hate' on him is when he plays against us
