Not sure where he would fit in for us, hes best in a deeper role but we have good depth in his better positionsAccording to that Peter O'rourke - Personally would have liked to see him come back to us

Teams can survive in the PL without spending stupid people. Its about forward planning and signing the right players, then selling them n reinvesting in better players. Then once you get to n stay in the PL you can start to spend money.
I always want us to be the best team possible however the PL is the be all n end all. I want us to play great football, give youngsters a chance and show ambition. Ambition isnt always just spending money, its doing things differently to try n be successful. We are doing all of that
Football is being ruined by the money but there will also be a place for teams that think out the box and recruit well
What are peoples thoughts on Tom Cannon.
Am I missing something
Have looked at a few clips but can't see an £8m player. Looks very average.
Certainly not that extra dimension that Stewart offers
Turner only cost about 4m, Hull were brassic. 12m was mooted when Liverpool tried to sign him.Apologies if already posted:

Says the man having a rant on a message board. And it's "bollocks".you really are a confrontational piece of work aren't you ...... Other than pick petty arguments and come out with complete bolloks...what do you contribute to this board. RTG was made for people like you

This is the very last conversation I have with you, I cannot be arsed to converse with a two bit keyboard warrior.. your debate level is zero, you add NOTHING to this board. You do nothing but disrupt threads. You clearly have nothing in your life other than to be a total prick on a football forum.. Goodbye, enjoy your miserable lifeSays the man having a rant on a message board. And it's "bollocks".
Yea thats why I'm asking. People seem divided about how good he is and hes certainly not a Stewart replacementA few clips certainly isn’t enough to determine how good someone is.
Altidore and Prica looked mint in clips.
I struggle to believe we’ve offered him a bad deal, considering Ballard, who I’d imagine was one of our higher earners anyway based on where he came from, the fee and who we beat to sign him, has signed a new deal
Good point..Unless we're 100% sure Stewart will pass a medical and agree terms ...
... how can we bring in a replacement?
Thats all i ever want, to be proud of my club
I'm not sure how much local pride there is being a Man City supporter tbh ...
... endless funds, distant foreign owner, foreign manager and most of the squad foreigners.
Haaland arrived fully formed and guaranteed to score a bagful of goals ...
... kind of takes much sense of real achievement away tbh.
Never play FM drunk. Ended up with 5 strikers and no keepers after a mad deadline day once
Cant understand how we can bring in a 'proven'/highly rated striker that compares to Stewart, for a similar price.
The prices Champ clubs are paying for strikers is mad - Simms for 8M, eg.
Can understand some logic to sell him only given his injury record and a year left -= cant understand logic of how we replace him with 2 1/2 days to go.

Just not as a no.9I’d take Gelhardt back for sure.
This.Just not as a no.9
I have said this all along, the lads agent has really screwed this upClarke and Ballard both signed " big" deals. We don't know what they were but can make educated guesses from other info and many have done that.
Unless we are the only club in the league, or almost in history, not to value their leading goalscorer it can be assumed that Stewart was offered about the same as those two lads.
His agent has been grossly negligent in not getting his player to sign that deal; a professional should always sign the first deal that can set him up. He and Stewart have rolled the dice. A bad injury is always around the corner waiting, and other deals or moves will come if he plays well enough.
He has burned a lot of money sitting on his league one deal, and he is by no means guaranteed to get back to what he was. Any deal offered to him will be less than it would have been, until he shows he is back properly.
